I’m Brian Funnekotter, a designer with over a decade of experience across branding, identity, and digital communication. Much of my career has been spent in early-stage ventures, where clarity, strategic thinking, and adaptability matter most.
My strength is building brand systems that scale, identities that are sharp, cohesive, and rooted in a clear conceptual foundation.I focus on integrating strategy and visual direction so the design system becomes a framework: something capable of expressing the brand’s essence, tone, and atmosphere with confidence.
I thrive when the work is complex, the direction is undefined, or the problems are messy. That’s where diagnosis, framing, and decisive creative thinking matter most and where I do my best work.
Outside of design, I’m a dad, a painter, and an enthusiastic cook. When I’m not working, I’m usually outdoors with my son, playing sports, exploring, or recharging in the fresh air.
